The Musical Score

Post by Admin on Thu Jan 26, 2017 6:36 am

What say you?  The theme tune, I loved.  Some of the others not so much.

What was odd was that the musical tunes seemed to attach to each character.  The love song between Seyit/Sura versus the foreboding one when Petro showed up on the scene.  That was the only criticism I had about the production itself.  Perhaps that's just a Turkish drama thing.  The music fits the character.  Thoughts?

I actually liked that each character had their own theme song. The music became like characters themselves. Sometimes the music for Petro or Sura would start playing before they actual showed what was happening to them on screen and because of the music, I would automatically know who to expect next in the scene.

Also, I would like my own theme song.

Which leads to the question - a sweeping romantic one? :-)

Yes as I noticed also, the music did match the characters. I could listen to Seyit and Sura's theme song all night long. As I got immersed more into the story, I rather looked forward to each different theme song. Then I knew what character was coming into the storyline. I love it!

The first notes of that piano music is what drew me to watch this series and now I can't get it out of my head!!!
Like for real...I had to clean out my piano/storage/junk room so I could get to the piano and try to play it...it was terrible!
Even now it's in my head. Help!!
